Why castor oil packs are Amazing . . . . .

Castor oil packs are intensely effective therapy for many health problems.

The pack is made with two layers of organic flannel and cold-pressed castor oil. When placed on the affected area, the pack acts as a poultice to draw out infection and dissolve scars, cysts, and tumors.

That is not all... Castor oil packs are used on the skin to increase circulation and to promote elimination and healing of the tissues and organs underneath the skin. They are also used to stimulate the liver, relieve pain, increase lymphatic circulation, reduce inflammation, and improve digestion. It is a champion treatment for CONSTIPATION. Why didn't anyone tell me about this before?

Centuries ago, the plant was referred to as "Palma Christe" because the leaves were said to resemble the hand of Christ. This association likely arose out of people's reverence for the plant's healing abilities. It was later adopted for medicinal use in Ancient Egypt, China, Persia, Africa, Greece, Rome, and eventually in 17th Century Europe and the Americas.

This pack comes in an amber storage bag to protect the longevity of the life of the pack – commonly up to 6 months. It is the only pack that offers ORGANIC cotton flannel AND the sheet of plastic (durable, reusable, 4 mil included – not organic, but totally convenient) to cover oil. How can you go wrong?

All about the Palma Christi Pack seal. The seal was created by Dr. Shelley Cerasaro designed to show a drop of golden oil, the Palma Christi, aptly placed over its receiver to emphasize the universal benefits which the oil delivers, in so many areas of our health. The longer it is used, the more benefit derived. The castor leaves in the background show the beautiful colors of this very beautiful plant. And the trees along the skyline are Lebanese Cedars which are mentioned in the Bible and the Ringing Cedars series for their medicinal and powerful attributes.

About Dr. Shelley . . . . .

Dr. Shelley was born on the East Coast and transported to the West at the tender age of 6 months. She grew up in the SF Bay Area: San Mateo, CA to be exact. She enjoyed many happy years there, attended Stanford University, class of '75, enjoyed the beauty and splendor from the ocean to the bay.

When it took longer than 20 minutes to get to SF from San Mateo (20 miles south) she knew it was time for her to seek higher ground and she sought the wild environs of western Canada, where she pursued her passion of extreme skiing, white water paddling and all things outdoors. She took up a career in construction to support herself. Parents were grief stricken.

Introduced to naturopathic medicine by her best friend Shelley, (seriously), she knew this was her destiny. To practice this amazing science of healing oneself. She finally worked up the courage to embark upon the 6 year journey of medical prerequisites and doctorate in Tempe, AZ. Dr. Shelley graduated from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2000. She has never looked back.

She managed her own clinic her first five years in practice in Great Falls, MT. She returned to her family's hometown of Redding in 2007, and opened an office there.

Some of the modalities she uses: drainage, nutrition, lifestyle recommendations, detoxification, homeopathy, botanicals, nutraceuticals, hydrotherapy and packs.

She has studied under some of the country's best ND's. Dr. Dick Thom, Dr. Tori Hudson, Dr. Robert Abell, Dr. Gerard Geuniot, MD, Dr. Ginger Nash, and Dr. Mona Morstein, just to name a few.
